Centers, sites, and groups

Consistent program names help your team recognize the right records.

Term	What it describes
Center	An organizing part of your childcare organization.
Site	A specific program location.
Classroom	A space associated with a site.
Group	An operational grouping of children.

Before changing setup

Check with the person responsible for program configuration. A classroom, a group, and a site describe different things and should not be used interchangeably.

Use names familiar to your team. When two sites have similarly named classrooms, confirm the site as well as the classroom name.

If something appears to be missing

Check your current account and access. Ask an administrator to confirm whether the record exists and whether you should be able to view it before creating another one.
